FOUNDER STORY

Hey everyone, I'm Rox, and I'm an average climber.

I started climbing around 2023, and started ramping up my climbing a bit more in 2025-2026.

A little bit about me, I'm an operational leader in a small startup, and I've been leading data teams for a few years now, I am absolutely obsessed with data, metrics and what drives success and what drives motivation to push into the next level; so of course this spilled a bit into my spare time activities and hobbies.

Not that long ago, in 2025 I started to log my climbing progress outdoors into theCrag, which is one of the multiple options out there for European crags. On top of this, as any fitness enthusiast, I've also been tracking my wellness data (sleep, HRV, etc) and all my fitness activities (gym, run, bike, etc) since like forever (first with Whoop, then I switched to Garmin); I've also always had some goals for myself in the back of my mind in my climbing journey, last year was to send an indoor 7a (checked) and outdoor 6c (not checked, but checked the first week of the new year), do a first multipitch (checked), and of course I have a couple of goals for this year as well to help motivate me to progress.

Sometime in June, I started to piece all of these together in a little app that I built just for myself based on my own data and what I want to see for myself, and the more time I spent in this little app the more it grew and grew and I managed to bring together all these aspects of my life that interconnect with each other and help push me forward and motivate me to climb more and climb better.

Now I schedule all my climbing workouts a week in advance on my training calendar, based on what I am lacking in order to achieve my future goals (somehow it's always power that I miss because I'm not much of a boulderer), it keeps me aware and keeps me accountable.

I absolutely love the feeling of checking a workout card in the calendar as done and mapping it to my Garmin activity, or adding my outdoor climbs in theCrag and having them sync in my app and I tie them to a Garmin activity I track while climbing.

I like to see the historicals of my climbing journey, going back and seeing how much of a struggle that 6b from last year was, how I redpointed it from 3-4 attempts, and today I can get it on a first try, makes me appreciate the journey not just chase the next destination.

All in all, I wanted to put this out there, maybe there are other people that love to see the numbers and love to train knowing what the best condition to try hard is and get a sense of where they are and what they need to work on next.

If anyone wants more specific features, please hit me up, I'd be super excited to talk about these and implement them if they fit the platform.
