RoxClimbs integration
Your Google health data, in your climbing logbook
If your watch writes to Google's health platform, RoxClimbs can read the signals that matter for climbing: sleep, HRV, heart rate and activity, beside your sends, projects and training. Google Health sync is in beta.
Free. Wearable sync is in beta: create your account, then apply from Settings, Connections.
What syncs.
Sleep, HRV, heart rate, resting heart rate, steps and exercise sessions, synced automatically once connected, with a Sync now button when you want it fresh. The signals feed the Body view and the daily check-in: an answer to "is today a try-hard day" grounded in what your body actually did.
Built on a real climbing logbook.
RoxClimbs is a climbing logbook first: theCrag sync, Mountain Project import, spreadsheet import and quick manual logging, with indoor and outdoor kept strictly separate. Projects build from your attempts, goals move when you send, training lives on a calendar with a source-cited workout library. Google Health adds the recovery signals beside all of it.
The beta, plainly.
Connecting uses Google's own sign-in and consent screens, you choose what to grant, and revoking access stops sync. Health data is never sold and never enters analytics. Beta spots are limited; apply inside the app.
Keep the climbing logbook at the centre with the climbing logbook, then explore Garmin Connect and Apple Health.
FAQ
Questions climbers ask
Which watches work?
Any device that writes its data into Google's health platform on Android. If your watch app syncs there, RoxClimbs can read what it writes.
Do I need a watch to use RoxClimbs?
No. The climbing logbook, projects, goals and training all work without one.
How do I get into the beta?
Create a free account, then apply from Settings, Connections. Access is granted per user while the beta is limited.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes. Revoking access stops sync immediately, and deleting imported data is a separate deliberate action in settings.
