- 1. Warm-up (10 min) Pulse-raiser, joint circles, then 5+ very easy problems climbed slowly with quiet feet.
- 2. Circuit — 3 rounds of 6-8 easy problems Choose 6-8 problems well below your limit and climb them as a lap, resting only while walking between problems. Rest 5 min between rounds. Effort stays conversational — a light pump that never grows.
- 3. Movement standard Every problem climbed WELL: feet placed once, arms straight between moves, controlled tops (no desperate slaps on easy ground). Volume with bad habits is practice at bad habits.
- 4. Vary the diet Across rounds, swap 1-2 problems for different styles — slab, compression, something with a high foot. Breadth at easy grades is what beginner progress is made of.
- 5. Finish Stop while movement is still crisp. Downclimb the last problem of each round if the gym allows — free balance training.
