TopLogger alternative
A TopLogger alternative that is not tied to one gym
TopLogger works inside a gym that runs it. RoxClimbs is your own logbook: every gym, every crag, every board, with training, goals and projects built on top. If you have ever switched gyms and lost your history, this page is for you.

The short version
TopLogger is gym infrastructure: in a gym that runs it, you tick the actual routes on the actual walls, free. The limit is the boundary: your logbook lives inside that gym's system. RoxClimbs is one free account that follows you across gyms, crags and years, and connects the logbook to goals, projects and training. Plenty of climbers use both.
A logbook that outlives the set.
Gym routes get stripped every few weeks; your history should not. RoxClimbs logs indoor sessions by grade in seconds, no route names needed, and keeps a pyramid and progression that survive every reset, every gym switch and every move to a new city.
The other half of your climbing.
Outdoor ascents sync from theCrag or import from Mountain Project. Attempts build projects, sends move goals, and the weekly review reads your gym sessions and your crag days together, in one place.
From ticks to answers.
Once your logbook holds about 25 climbs, the Performance view opens: what you could likely flash today, a projected redpoint, and five signals showing how your climbing is built. The weekly coach review adds the plain-language version: what you planned, what you did, what moved. Bring your own Claude API key and the coach becomes a chat grounded in your own data.
Yours, anywhere.
Free, in any browser, installed to your home screen. Not tied to a gym, a chain or a country. Export your data or delete it any time.

Which should you pick?
Pick the tool that fits your climbing.
Pick TopLogger if:
your gym runs it and you want to tick this week's actual set.
Pick RoxClimbs if:
you want a logbook that is yours, follows you across gyms and crags, and feeds goals, projects and training. Use both: TopLogger for the wall, RoxClimbs for the journey.
Switching is not starting over.
Your climbing history can come with you.
Your outdoor history imports today: connect theCrag, upload Mountain Project ticks, or bring a spreadsheet. For gym history, if you can export it to a spreadsheet, the importer takes it; otherwise your indoor record starts with your next session, and takes seconds per visit to keep.

FAQ
Questions climbers ask
Is RoxClimbs really free?
Yes, free. No card, no trial clock. If that ever changes, existing users will hear it from us first.
Does RoxClimbs know my gym's routes?
No. Indoor logging is by grade, not by your gym's route database. That is the trade: TopLogger knows this week's set; RoxClimbs keeps a history no reset can wipe.
Can I use both?
Yes, and it is a sensible combination: tick the set in TopLogger, keep your lasting record, goals and training in RoxClimbs.
Does it track outdoor climbing?
Yes, fully: theCrag sync, Mountain Project import, spreadsheet import and first-class manual logging, with outdoor kept separate from gym volume.
